Selena Gomez to Defend TV Actress Title at 2011 Kids' Choice Awards

Selena Gomez has got the chance to take home an orange blimp figurine from Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards for the third year in a row. On Thursday, February 10, the actress famed for her portrayal of Alex Russo on "Wizard of Waverly Place" was named one of this year's nominees for Favorite TV Actress.
The 18-year-old songstress has claimed the title for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010. Like in those years, she will be battling for votes against "Hannah Montana Forever" star Miley Cyrus and "iCarly" leading lady Miranda

Cosgrove. Her new contender in the category will be "Victorious" beauty Victoria Justice.
Along with her nomination, Selena's TV series "Wizards" has also collected two other nods for Favorite TV Show and Favorite TV Sidekick. The latter count puts David Henrie in competition against "The Suite Life on Deck" actress Brenda Song and two cast members of "iCarly", Jennette McCrudy and Noah Munck, "iCarly".
This year's nominees for Favorite TV Actor still resemble the last year's list. Brothers Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas as well as twins Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprause have each earned a nomination for their work on "JONAS L.A." and "The Suite Life on Deck". Last year, Dylan came out as the kids' favorite.
The 24th Annual Kids' Choice Awards will take place at the Pauley Pavilion at UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California on April 2. Surprise awards will be announced during the show hosted by Jack Black. Kids will be able to cast their votes for their favorites in music, movie, TV and sports at Nick.com beginning March 7.
